Not tax or legal advice
Updated . Not tax or legal advice.
Domicile Ledger helps you keep records. It does not tell you whether you are or are not a resident of any state.
What the tools do
- Count days by state from what you record or what your phone logs.
- List common steps people take when they change domicile, with links to official or professional sources.
- Keep your evidence in one place and export it for your advisor.
What they do not do
- They do not give tax, legal or financial advice.
- They do not decide your domicile or residency. Tax departments and courts look at all the facts.
- Day counts can be wrong if your phone did not record a location, or if you enter wrong dates. Check the days marked "needs review".
- Rules change. Each checklist item shows the date we last checked its source.
Ask a CPA or attorney about your own situation before you act.
